animal abuse videos

This video about Sara McLachlan and how she helps fight against the abuse of animals. It shows how the animals that in our backyard are abuse in the most outrageous ways you can imagine. It really hurts me to see how people have no heart and just watch the animal suffer or die. And what hurts the most is to see how people don’t do anything, they just turn the other cheek and walk away. I’m glad that this lady is making a difference and lending a helping hand to animals in need.

In this youtube clip it shows me how people can be so cruel. The whole video is pretty much how the animals get hurt. I don’t like it personally because when you see how people torture animals with anything but their hands, and how the poor animals would look while slowly dying. It hurts me to see how animals not in our backyard can be abused like this. People have no heart and just laugh or turn the other cheek and not say anything. This video is more of wild animals and how people would kill them slowly.

My assignment is based on animals and protecting them. I have a very strong liking for them. This is more based on the whole topic of mine.

This is the history of the whole animal abuse. Like the how you can cause abuse to your animal mentally and emotionally other than the physical abuse. This link to me is very important because like i said it tells the history of when the abuse started.

This link caught my attention because it helps animals in danger. When an animal gets hurt they can go there. Also when they get hurt the people at the clinic clean them up and help them get adopted to a family that well take care of them.

Interview for essay # 4
Laura Darrow
English 101

In my interview I decided to use my friend Darcy Holland. She works at the Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary. I decided to use her for my interview because she works with animals. Not just the animals we see in our back yard but endangered animals and animals that can no longer go into the wild. In my essay I want to explain that all animals have a heart and deserve to be treated right. Yes some animals are for eating and that helps us survive. Not all animals are meant for eating, people who are greedy and think hunting and killing animals are just for fun, but no its not. If you think about it if we kill one animal off then somewhere along the line another animal is going to die off for no apparent reason. I choose Darcy because she has some point of view and shares the same kind of love I do for the animals.
In the beginning of the interview I asked Darcy what she did at the zoo. She told me she was a volunteer and did the basics such as cleaning cages, feeding animals, preparing the food and cleaning dishes. I asked her what type of animals are in the zoo are they more endangered animals or common animals. She responded that both types of animals are there abut more common than others. Then I asked her if she thought that animals today are being out into more danger than they were back in the day. She replied yes and told that in today’s world people only hunt for fun and not for survival. She also stated that people should get more educated about animals and how they are almost human just like us. Then I asked her what the word sanctuary meant animal wise because I think that’s what the zoo was more about. Helping animals and getting their population on the rise again. She responded where an animal who has been abandon, abused, hurt, or who cannot be introduced back into the wild can go. She was very strong about this. The last question I asked her was what she wanted to be when she got out of school. She told me she wanted to be a zoologist/Wildlife biologist and a veterinarian technician. She told me it helps with studying animals, caring for animals, and it also educates people. She also said she wants to learn the diets of every animal and habitats. She is learning a lot about animals just from doing little things at her job.
This is my interview with Darcy Holland and some of the things she said will be used in my essay number four. I like some of the things she pointed out and how some of the things are on the internet but to have someone say it took a lot of guts to do. And yes I was told it was ok to use her name in the interview.

Nursing

Since I was a little girl I always wanted to help people out. When my great grandma got sick on us I was there helping her. Giving her medications and help he with what she needs. When she passed away she told me that I would make a great nurse. That’s when I decided that I wanted to be a nurse.
I like nursing because I like the way they help people and nurses go out of their way to make sure that their patients or even the patient’s family are comfortable in the hospital. Nurses today are needed about almost in every hospital. What I want to get out of nursing is to prove to my community that I may be young but I can do a lot in this field. In today’s’ world you have to work hard to prove that you belong in the medical field. You may be an experienced nurse but you have to have a lot of experience in this field. So that’s why I choose this field to prove to my community that I can make a difference in my life and that not all native Americans are bed influences in the American society.
